On Thursday 18th April, ELRA commemorated its 20th Anniversary at the offices of the Colegio de Registradores in Madrid.
In recognition of two decades of dedication and service to the land registry community, we welcomed past Presidents of ELRA alongside the current members of the Executive Board.
The day commenced with opening words by María Emilia Adán, President of the Colegio de Registradores, followed by a welcome speech from our current President, Mihai Taus, setting the stage for a day of reflection and celebration of achievements over the last twenty years.
This was followed by a productive table discussion where all attendees had the opportunity to address ELRA’s current challenges and collaborate on potential solutions.
Later in the day, members of the ELRA Board, including President Mihai Taus, Secretary General Francisco J. Gimeno, Treasurer Elena Prada, and Board Members Manfred Buric and Jacques Vos, along with Alicia Giménez, Head of ELRA Secretariat, and Enrique Maside, Director of European Affairs of the Colegio de Registradores de España, had the privilege of meeting with Mr. David Vilas Álvarez, General Director for International Legal Cooperation and Human Rights at the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, and relations with the Courts.
The conference concluded with a second panel discussion highlighting ELRA milestones and an introduction to the XXII edition of the IPRA-CINDER Congress 2024.
The event culminated with a final word of thanks from our President, Mihai Taus.
