Land Registry is a register of rights, Cadaster is a register of facts about parcels. Land Register is central generall register accessible to anyone who has legal interest in rights in rem, legal rights to immovable property.

b) Which Ministry’s competence do they fall under?

Land Register – Minister of Justice, Cadaster – Minister of Public Administration (at the moment it is problematci which ministry should be in charge of Cadaster).

c) Could you describe in brief the form of collaboration between the two institutions?

They exchange informationa: LR sends information about factual data of immovable proerty and ownership to Cadaster, Cadaster about factual data of immovable property to LR.
